Trust: how AmondinOps looks after your alarms

Where it runs, what it keeps, what it never does. Every line is how AmondinOps works today.

Runs in Europe

The app and its database run in Heroku's European region, on Amazon's eu-west-1 in Ireland. E-mail is sent from Frankfurt. Text messages go through a Norwegian provider, and calls are placed from Norwegian numbers whose data stays in Ireland.

Encrypted on the way and at rest

Every connection to AmondinOps is encrypted. The database is encrypted at rest.

Nothing is ever silenced by a machine

Every incident is announced. No rule, no bundling and no quiet hour stops one. Only a person can turn the phones off on a check, and the record says who did.

A signal carries no content

A ping says that something happened and when. The evidence stays in the system that owns it. AmondinOps keeps a link to it, never a copy.

A written record of every incident

Every incident gets one page: who was called, who answered, when it worked again and why it happened. The address keeps working. While you are a customer, the page is kept for as long as you decide, ten years unless you change it; after you stop paying, for 12 months. On Free, a report is hidden 30 days after its incident closed and comes back when you upgrade.

No AI reads your incidents

AmondinOps sends no incident, name or message to an AI model.

No password to steal

You sign in with a one-time code sent by e-mail, and any member can add a second step on their phone. The people who are called need no account. The link in the text opens without one.

Two-step sign-in for our team

Every account we use to reach your data asks for a password and a second check, such as a code on a phone.

If something goes wrong

If your data is ever exposed, our CEO e-mails your workspace's admins without undue delay, with what you need to report it to the data protection authority. Tell us about a problem at incidents@skiwo.com.
