A nightly job that stops running says nothing at all. It simply does not arrive, and nobody sees.

The document
When it is over, one page answers every follow-up question: how we became aware, everyone contacted and what happened to each attempt, why it happened in the responder’s own words, what we owed the authority and whether we met it, and what the evidence points at. An auditor reads it without asking.
